When a component fails inspection, mark and isolate it so another colleague cannot return it to use accidentally. The log also helps reveal recurring wear or a cleaning process that needs review.
After use, follow the documented shutdown and cleaning sequence, then store each component under the required conditions. The most valuable part of the routine is the stop rule: unexpected resistance, damage, leakage indication or unclear instructions mean preparation pauses until product-specific support is obtained.
